Canadian Whisky Awards
/The Canadian Whisky Awards were held last night in Victoria, with Lot No. 40 taking home the title of “Whisky of the Year” for the second time.
Canadian whisky, having oft been overlooked in the whisky world, was no shrinking violet last night. As new whiskies and old standby’s alike were recognized for their achievements. A few notables were:

Canadian whisky has been in the spotlight since Jim Murray named Crown Royal Northern Harvest Rye his choice for “world whisky of the year”. Hopefully canadians and non-canadians alike continue this trend of exploring this exciting and innovative genre of whisky.
